“But finally that became a family tradition.

It come atonement day and maybe the Jews had been doing what was wrong.

He'd say,

"Well, I believe it's atonement day.

I'd better take my lamb down."

See, it become a family tradition.”

“All the families do it, so we should do it too."

And that's just exactly where our Christianity's got.

That's just exactly where our Pentecostal movements are coming to.

 It's a family tradition.”

MARK 7:6-13

6    He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with [their] lips, but their heart is far from me.

7    Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.

8    For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, [as] the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

9    And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

10    For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:

11    But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, [It is] Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; [he shall be free].

12    And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;

13    Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

TWENTIETH.CENTURY.PROPHET.MOVIE.title  JEFF.IN  53-0800

And to my honest belief,

I believe He's finishing up right now with the Gentiles,

and will turn to the Jews right away.

And the Gentiles will be left in their dogmas

and the things that they got,

and their creeds,

and cold, formal denominations.

2

SIR.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS.title  NY.NY  V-18 N-7  63-1112

  Now,

it's been two thousand years with the Gentiles;

they received the Gospel.

Now, our dispensation's running out,

 the church age;

We’re finishing

3

UNVEILING.OF.GOD.title  JEFF.IN  V-9 N-1  64-0614M

You know what the Gentile church does?

The same thing the Jewish church did:

“See, it become a family tradition.”

4

GOD'S.ONLY.PROVIDED.PLACE.OF.WORSHIP.title  SHP.LA  V-7 N-4  65-

God is not a author of denomination,

 because denomination is Babylon,

and He's not the author of confusion.

We see her all...

You don't have to be even intellectual to see that.

It's Babylon,

yes,

Tradition.

Think of it,

sincere people.

5

INVISIBLE.UNION.OF.THE.BRIDE.title  SHP.LA  V-2 N-15  65-1125

That's what the church is today by Bible schools and intellectuals,

and look, everyone disagreeing with the other.

A big mess of just exactly what the Bible said:

Babylon.

“It's Babylon, yes, tradition.”

6

WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS.title  KLAMATH.FALLS.OR  60-0708

They've had their message to come out of Babylon.

But they won't listen to it,

no more then they did back there in that day.

“It's Babylon, yes, tradition.”

7

WHY.AGAINST.ORGANIZED.RELIGION.title  JEFF.IN  V-12 N-1  62-1111E

And this angel's Message,

 messenger come from God,

was echoing his message on the earth to come out of

Babylon;

“It's Babylon, yes, tradition.”

8

WHY.AGAINST.ORGANIZED.RELIGION.title  JEFF.IN  V-12 N-1  62-1111E

There's a many innocent man falling into

 the trap of tradition,

holding the holy Word in his hand,

 and

 supposingly

to be preaching from It.

9

WHY.AGAINST.ORGANIZED.RELIGION.title  JEFF.IN  V-12 N-1  62-1111E

Today it kinda makes me feel bad when I see that the Words of the Bible has been so

cut up by traditions.

And honest-hearted people who stand there and hear that Word,

and they know It's the Truth,

but they're daresn't to take a move,

because their tradition teaches them different.

 Wash the pots and pans then, brethren;

 go ahead.

 But for us,

And

for me and my house,

 We take Christ the Word.

See?

“All the families do it, so we should do it too."

And that's just exactly where our Christianity's got.”

10

TRIAL.A.title  TUCSON.AZ  64-0427

And that's the reason they failed to receive Jesus when He first come upon the earth, is because they were living under

A tradition.

11

FALLING.APART.OF.THE.WORLD.title  JEFF.IN  V-10 N-6  62-1216

The Jews had forsaken their God and taken their sacred solemn feasts

and had made it

 a

ritualistic tradition.

God had departed from them.

12

ALL.THINGS.title  SHREVEPORT.LA  62-1124E

Finally...

 Now,

that was wonderful to begin with.

 But finally,

 it become a family tradition.

I'm sure you know what I mean.

 He went...

The Jew would go offer his sacrifice just because that...

 well,

the family did it.

And well,

it was a tradition.

“All the families do it, so we should do it too."

And that's just exactly where our Christianity's got.”

13

LOOKING.UNTO.JESUS.title  PHOENIX.AZ  V-22 N-2  64-0122

If they would've only looked into the Word of God, instead of their-

-of their tradition of that day,

they would've knowed He was the Son of God.

14

THIRD.SEAL.THE.title  JEFF.IN  63-0320

That's the same thing today

(See?),

same thing today.

Hits just exactly.

 Yup, yes, sir.

She--she knew it because the Light struck it.

They...

Them fishermen, woodsmen, farmers, tax-collectors, harlots,

they seen in Him what the simple Scriptures said He would do,

and

the Pharisees couldn't see because of their tradition.

Amen.

 They couldn't see because their traditions;

15

SIRS.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS.title  DENHAM.SP.LA  64-0318

Now, when Jesus come,

those scribes, and so forth, ought to have recognized Him.

But they didn't,

because they was so set in their traditions.

 Pharisees, Sadducees, Herodians, whatevermore,

they was in that traditions so steeped

until

the very prophecy of Christ Himself,

that what He was supposed to be,

they failed to see it.

16

SIRS.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS.title  DENHAM.SP.LA  64-0318

They was so steeped in tradition.

Now,

that's how they missed seeing Him in that day that they lived in.

 Now,

that could repeat,

you know.

It always has.

And it could repeat again.

17

TRIAL.A.title  TUCSON.AZ  64-0427

They were men that you couldn't put a finger on, 'cause if you did they'd be stoned. They were good men.

They were bound to be good men by law.

And they were raised up from generation to generation.

Their sons and grandsons and great grandsons all had to be priests, Levites.

And yet the men, in them trainings,

that never knowed nothing else but seminary and the Bible, and was so blind they

failed to see Him,

could it be possible that we entered that again?

Remember,

the same Scripture said we would

(That's exactly right.),

 Said

We would do it.

“All the families do it, so we should do it too."

And that's just exactly where our Christianity's got.”

18

TRIAL.A.title  TUCSON.AZ  64-0427

They said they believed the prophets.

And here was the Word in Fullness,

and still they didn't believe it

because they had their creed and their tradition.

19

WORLD'S.FALLING.APART.title  ALBQ.NM  63-0412M

When the Jew come down the road with his bullock,

 or his lamb,

to go offer it for a sacrifice,

and he did it from the bottom of his heart, it was a great thing.

But after while it become a family tradition.

“That was fine for a long time.

Then after while that same thing become

a family tradition.”

20

INDICTMENT.THE.title  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-19  63-0707

 The Lamb,

the sacrificial Lamb,

was on the grounds.

“John said,

"Behold, there's the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world."

21

INDICTMENT.THE.title  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-19  63-0707

 The

old paschal lamb passed away,

 and

Christ become our Lamb

at the day of the crucifixion.

22

PARDONED.title  TUCSON.AZ  63-1028

But finally that became a family tradition.

It come atonement day and maybe the Jews had been doing what was wrong.

 He'd say,

"Well, I believe it's atonement day. I'd better take my lamb down."

 See,

It become a family tradition.

23

COMMUNION.title  TUCSON.AZ  V-8 N-4  65-1212

Finally,

over and over it went again, over and over it kept going

until finally

 it become a tradition.

The commandment of God became a tradition to the people.

24

INVESTMENTS.THE.title  BEAUMONT.TX  64-0314

But the time come when it become a family tradition.

25

WHY.LITTLE.BETHLEHEM.title  PHOENIX.AZ  V-9 N-9  63-1214

No matter what the tradition says,

èIt’s His Word that counts. ç

That's what He'll take,

His Word,

and That only.

“The seventh angel messenger say,

"Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world."

I CORINTHIANS 11:26

26    For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

“No matter what the tradition says,

it's His Word that counts.”

26

ANOINTED.ONES.AT.END.TIME.title  JEFF.IN  V-5 N-3  65-0725M

All you churches, Denominations

that's holding to the tradition of man

instead of the Word of God,

you're cursed by God.

27

COMMUNION.title  TUCSON.AZ  V-8 N-4  65-1212

Paul also went into the desert and received inspiration

 from God to set the

New Testament church in order and type it with the Old.

Under there they had the sacrificial lamb,

that Israel kept that for

èA memorial. ç

28A

RISING.OF.THE.SUN.title  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-12  65-0418M

As people today are trying to say,

we should wash feet once a year on-

-on Thursday,

and on

Friday

 we should take the communion,

 and

 all different doctrines of..

28B

RISING.OF.THE.SUN.title  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-12  65-0418M

They argue about whether it should be this day or that day,

or whether it should be a sabbath day

 or

the first day of the week or...

All

these things are just merely tradition.

What good would any of it do you,

whether you had Lent or not Lent, if there's no Life in you.

èIt's only a memorial. ç

29

PARDONED.title  TUCSON.AZ  63-1028

But finally that became a family tradition

30

GREATER.WITNESS.THAN.JOHN.title  OWENSBORO.KY  53-1107

And he said,

"Look, Brother Branham,"

 said,

"Abraham believed God by faith, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness."

I said,

"That's right.

 Exactly.

But He give him the sign of circumcision

in commemoration,

as a memorial

of his faith."

31

QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS.title  JEFF.IN  COD  54-0103E

Now,

God gave Abraham, generations before Moses,

 the sign of circumcision.

And that was the covenant that God made,

that every Jew should be circumcised.

 Is that right?

Every man should be...

That was a sign.

32

JUBILEE.YEAR.title  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-6  54-1003E

The communion,

a sign of believers...

“But finally that became a family tradition.”

33

JUBILEE.YEAR.title  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-6  54-1003E

How many believes in communion?

 Thank you.

That's what Jesus Christ asked us to do,

said, take the broken parts of His body,

 And to do it

Until He returned again.

34

QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS.title  JEFF.IN  COD  59-0628E

He cannot issue taking communion, and turn around,

and say there no need to taken it.

You've got to do it.

It's an order forever with God.

35

SERPENT'S.SEED.title  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-4  58-0928E

There's a difference between "eternal" and "forever."

"Forever"

is forever and forever (conjunction) means

è"A space of time."ç

36

DOOR.INSIDE.DOOR.title  KLAMATH.FALLS.OR  60-0711

èForever is just a space of time. ç

37

QA.HEBREWS.PART.1.title  JEFF.IN  COD  57-0925

It's God by His election

brings the people and opens their eyes.

You could never see it;

you're blind and never could see

unless God opens your understanding.

 38

SEVENTH.SEAL.THE.title  JEFF.IN  63-0324E

Now,

notice these Jews.

Now,

the scales of blindness was on these people's eyes.

They--they couldn't help it.

 It was there,

And God put it there.

And they are on there

until

the age that they are promised this coming prophets...

·        It was a Jewish law that every mother for her purification and the circumcision of a baby, as every Jew baby was born, had to be brought to the temple after eight days and circumcised.

·        After eight days, it was a custom of the Jewish traditions to bring the child to the temple, all the male children. And they had to be circumcised.

·        And had to offer either two turtle doves (that was a peasant's offering.) or a lamb (was a rich child's offering) for the purification of the mother and for the child.

·        Every male child must be brought to the--to the temple after eight days and be circumcised. And the mother had to offer a lamb, or if she was poor, she offered two turtledoves for the purification of her ownself, and for the circumcision of the baby. It was a law.

·        Every man had to be circumcised. He had to be that, or he was stoned to death.

“All the families do it, so we should do it too."

And that's just exactly where our Christianity's got.”

 CORINTHIANS 7:18-19

18    Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.

19    Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

39

LAW.OR.GRACE.title  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-7  54-1006

Now, notice,

"All the law having a shadow of the things to come..."

See,

just a shadow...

Now,

 under the old dispensation,

Paul was trying to say how they was circumcised,

the males,

 by flesh,

was a type of the circumcision by heart,

of the Holy Spirit of this day.

40

SEVENTY.WEEKS.OF.DANIEL.title  JEFF.IN  DA 89-141  61-0806

Paul,

with the Holy Ghost,

had caught that in the Spirit.

“It's our Lord up there”  “To see Jesus Himself there in the skies”

 “Only Christ, it could be”

41

COMMUNION.title  TUCSON.AZ  V-8 N-4  65-1212

For as oft...

 (Remember now.)...

For as oft as you eat this bread, and drink this cup,

you do shew forth the Lord's death till he come.

(How long? "Until He comes." See, see?)

42

IT.IS.I.BE.NOT.AFRAID.title  COLUMBIA.SC  62-0611

I hope you people catch it,

You people that believe in the God's grace.

43

THIRD.EXODUS.title  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-21  63-0630M

I hope the spiritual mind can catch it.

 I'm sure you do,

But I wonder out there.

 Anyhow,

you can't visit every nation;

you can send tapes to it.

God will have some way to catch that mind out there where that seed's sowed.

That's right.

And as soon as the Light strikes it,

 it's gone,

 takes Life.

Like the little woman at the well, she said,

"There it is."

She caught it.

“All the families do it, so we should do it too."

And that's just exactly where our Christianity's got.

That's just exactly where our Pentecostal movements are coming to.

 It's a family tradition.”

#23

“Finally,

over and over it went again, over and over it kept going

until finally it become a tradition.”

44

COMMUNION.title  TUCSON.AZ  V-8 N-4  65-1212

For as oft...

Oft:

Definition:

 Over and over again.

(Remember now.)...

 For as

Oft

as you eat this bread, and drink this cup,

you do shew forth the Lord's death till he come.

(How long? "Until He comes." See, see?)

Amen.
